Field Planning

Description
KCI designs specific components for offshore wind farms; for example: foundations, cables and substations. These designs are completed entirely in-house using experience gained in the oil and gas exploration industry. This design process comprises all the necessary concept designs, risk analyses, calculations and identification of environmental factors such as the influence of wind and water on the design. To this end KCI uses the most up to date software, which includes software developed in-house. This enables an accurate assessment of the installation, fabrication, operation and feasibility of an installation, as well as economic yield.

Highlights

  • A feasibility study is based on client specifications and environmental factors.
  • A fully integrated design process is comprised of all necessary studies and analyses.
  • Calculation of the location's economic feasibility and yield.
  • All in accordance with the local legislation, regulations and safety requirements.
